[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

I’ve put off posting this for a while, but today is a big day so here we go.

This is an excerpt from the very first time I did stand-up. I was a senior at Penn State three weeks away from graduation, and the show was an open mic at a hookah lounge. Here’s what I said:

“What do you want to do after college? It’s a bullshit question. Because they’re not asking what you want to do after college, they’re asking you what you’re going to do after college. Because I’ve looked into it, and Mountain Dew is not going to sponsor me to get high and play Xbox all day.”

What seemed funny (to me, not the audience apparently) less than five years ago has now come to pass. Mountain Dew is currently sponsoring my talk show Bleep Bloop where, more or less, I sit around and play videogames with my friends (though I should note we’re sober, and we don’t get to do it all day).

Because I’m way too masucline and cool to do it their faces, I’m going to use my blog to publicly acknowledge and thank the wonderful people I’ve been lucky enough to work with for the past four-and-a-half-ish years. You guys have not not only made my very specific and unrealistic dream a reality, you’ve also made it not even the most exciting project I’m working on.
