I am currently preparing to move, and revaluating the things I own. I don’t have a lot of stuff, but one thing I’ve been carrying around since sophomore year of college is this poster for Mariah Carey’s bomb “Glitter.” I have come to the difficult decision that I am ready to give it away.

At 3’ x 6’, this poster is so ridiculously large that Mariah Carey is actually bigger than life sized. Her head alone is over a foot long.

You should also note that, before I came into possession of the piece, a vandal used a ball point pen to add tears beneath Mariah Carey’s eyes. Tragic, but the poster is so absurdly oversized you will rarely notice. The poster looks a little rolled up (my roommate of 3 years wouldn’t let me hang it, which isn’t unfair), but it’s made of high quality vinyl so it could be flattened out and loved once again.

True fact - 60 Minutes reporter Leslie Stahl has been in the presence of this poster.

I am ready to pass this treasure on, but I can’t give it away to just anyone. If you’d like the poster, reply to my Craigslist posting and make me believe you could give it a good home. Tell me where you would display it, or what you plan to do with it. Convince me you should have it. I will contact whoever writes the best email Sunday night. If it’s good enough, I’ll post it here too.
