Almost two years ago I made a lip dub for The Verve Pipe’s 90’s hit, The Freshman. This week, EMI Publishing sent a copyright infringement notice and I had to take it down. Just to spite them (because I’m sure they care) I’m reposting it without the music. In order to further stick it to EMI I am going to keep not buying music from the major labels, just like everyone else since at least 2000.

If you have a legally purchased copy of The Verve Pipe’s classic 1996 album Villains handy and you’re a Jeff Rubin superfan, you can synch it up at home yourself. The video and the song start at almost the exact same time.
