I wrote Ball Pit Bar with Dan several months ago, but it was only recently CHTV had the resources and the chutzpah to take it on.

The sketch itself is short and silly, but consider what it takes to produce it. You’ve got to buy 40,012 plastic balls, transport them, unleash them in a bar at some weird off-hour, shoot a sketch, put away all the balls, and finally clean them in case someone wants to use them again (you don’t buy this many balls unless it’s a long term investment). I don’t even know the math required to figure out how many balls it takes to fill a bar. There’s no precedent for doing something this awesome, you can’t just Google a how-to. CHTV’s production team not only did it, they made it look easy. Great job Josh, Eva, Vince, Mary, Bennet, Steve, Leo, Kurt, Dan, and anyone else who made this real.

(This video came out last week, sorry for the tardiness! A week seems like two months in Internet time.)
