Based on what I just learned at Art Garfunkel’s Wikipedia page (it’s that kind of Sunday night) he would be amazing at the classic ice breaker, “Two Truths and a Lie.”
Here’s how it might have gone down - play along at home and see if you can pick out Art’s lie in each set.
A - “I have walked across Japan and America.”
B - “I have read over 1,000 books. Which 1,000? I’m glad you asked - I keep an updated list on my website!”
C - “My daughter is an olympic archer who got the silver in Athens.”
What do you think? Let’s try another one.
A - “I’ve published several mystery novels under a pseudonym, one of which was made into a movie you probably know.”
B - “I’ve been arrested twice for marijuana possesion. Recently. Decriminalize it, people!”
C - “My cousin is boy-band mogul Lou Pearlman, who is rumored to have had inappropriate relationships with young talent he mentored. What? No, don’t worry - we haven’t spoken since I sued him.”
I told you he was good!
