“There’s a scene where I drop my granddaughter off at the house, and I have the blues, and then I go into the warehouse and shoot all those guys. But when I drop her off at the house, I say “Your mom’s waiting for you.” The mother’s standing way in the background. Vince directed that episode and I turned to him and said, “In my opinion, that may be my granddaughter’s mom, but that is not my daughter.” Somewhere in my actor’s mind, one of the reasons that Mike’s soul is gone, that he’s taken this bad turn…it has something to do with something happening to his son. That will probably never be addressed on screen.”
