Just came across this gem from a few years ago. My friends and I used to play a ton of Sorry!, specifically a team based variant that we maybe-kinda invented. Here we are playing Sorry! in a hot tub in the middle of the Winter.
Aquatic Sorry! was designed by Scott (now of Scott’s Pizza Tour fame) as a graduation present for our friend Dave. The board is on an inch of foam to keep it from sinking, and surrounded by a wall to keep the water from coming over and knocking over pieces. On each wall there is the helpful reminder “PLAY WITH TRUST!” in your team mate’s color. In the center is the S.S. Sorry, a raft which houses the draw and discard piles. Though not clearly visible in the picture, the S.S. Sorry has a sail with the word Sorry stenciled on. The cards have two layers of lacker, which made them last through the game but probably not much longer. Anyone seeking to recreate the board should probably laminate them.
