Heidy-ho, web surfers. Steven Q. Urkel here. Welcome to UrkelNet. If you think...
– UrkelNet, the #1 Family Matters Fan Site on the Internet
Patrick and I are looking for a specific episode of Family Matters season 2 (there are only torrents for seasons 1 and 3). If anyone can help, please holler.
The problem with doing a show where people talk about videogames is lighting for...
– Play Value producer Jeremiah Black. We shot four more yesterday.
Before I left for work this morning, I wrote up a quick post requesting an embeddable rimshot button. By the time I got to my desk, Topher Chris had made it real and posted it in the comments. Here’s the code.
InstantRimshot.com doesn’t seem to have any contact information, so I’m just going to shout my feature request into the Internet and hope it reaches them.
I want an embeddable version!
I was researching the average height of a Smurf for an article and learned that Smurfs are often described as, “three apples tall.”
If you haven’t taken the paragraph break as an opportunity to think about that, please do so now.

I’m developing quite a backlog of things to blog. Let’s knock some of them out with bullet points.
- The common wisdom is that the new Hardly Working, Phone Fight, is one of the best yet. I tend to agree.
- There’s a new Play Value up. This one’s about Miyamoto, the guy who created everything from Mario to Zelda to the Wii itself. It’s remarkable that the guy who...
CollegeHumor superfans, take note. I’m busy this weekend, so newly promoted editorial assistant Susanna captioned the pictures. She did everything from Friday afternoon (starting after “blarney stone”) until Monday afternoon. You could start at this phenominal picture, and go forward.
Lots of good captions, but this was my favorite.

Seven Jokes That Came True
Pat and I have been writing a still untitled column for CollegeHumor where we pull together seemingly random elements of pop culture and connect them with trivia and jokes for a list. It’s not unlike the AV Club’s weekly list, or virtually every article you see on Digg. We are both very excited about this week’s installment, Seven Jokes That Came...
