It wasn’t released until October, but I’m ready to declare Single Ladies the song of the summer. For proof, look no further than this video of a little girl dancing.
Sk8boardin’, a short film I made in college with some friends, just made it’s festival premiere at the Austin Underground Film Festival.
The idea for this week’s Bleep Bloop actually came from a comment left on this very blog.
As Ricky put it, “MTV, drunk on profits from The Hills, decided to give us our own TV show.”
More details in the future, but I will say that making a TV show with these people is even more fun than you think it is
Some people seem to think it’s a reality show, which isn’t true. For instance, we don’t really have a dinosaur.
This is one of my favorite scenes from all of NewsRadio. Jimmy James (Office Space, King of the Hill, a schmorgasboard of Coen Bros. movies) does a public reading of his biography, which was so succesful in Japan that the Japanese version has now been translated back to English. On this week’s Bleep Bloop myself, Sarah, and Pat couldn’t find any friends, so we made some playing the Playstation 3’s Little Big Planet online.
I know I say this a lot, but this is one of my favorite Hardly Workings.
A way too catchy bubblegum song has been going around the office lately. It’s hard to remember another tune boring itself so deeply into my brain that I had to actively take countermeasures to flush it out. Here’s the emergency playlist of even catchier songs I’m currently listening to.
